7.11) Summary

In this section we covered some basic concepts of need for parallel computing, along with a simple classification of parallel computers according to their memory model. This was followed by a description and discussion of ARC2 architecture and configuration as it relates to parallel computing. Finally, an explanation and example of how to submit parallel jobs to the batch queue system were given.
