Dr. Jonathan Busch

Jonathan Busch is a research fellow in the Sustainability Research Institute and the Institute for Resilient Infrastructure at the University of Leeds, working in the interdisciplinary areas of Industrial Ecology and Ecological Economics. His research interests are in understanding the resource dependence of socio-technical systems and studying alternative structures that enable a sustainable low carbon economy. Jonathan has extensive experience in applying a variety of modelling and simulation techniques to research questions; including system dynamics (for dynamic material flow analysis), agent based modelling (for infrastructure business models) and quantum monte carlo simulations (for quantum computing).
