3.1) History Of Simulations

Methods used today for simulation in social sciences have a range of roots in various techniques. One fairly straight strand goes from differential equations to first system dynamics models in the 1960s, to state-of-the-art top-down models. Multi agent models on the other hand emerged from a variety of methods such as cellular automata and artificial intelligence concepts.
