5.5) Conceptualizing Agent Based Models

Pick one of the questions on the next slide, take five minutes, and answer the following questions:

• What should be in a model?
• What kinds of things should be represented, what variables should those things have to represent their essential characteristics, and what processes that change things should be in the model?
• Should the model be agent-based?

If the question is not clear enough to decide, then reformulate the question to produce one that is sufficiently clear.
