Dr. Richard Gunton

I am a plant ecologist, conservationist and applied statistician working in the Genetics, Ecology and Evolution Group at University of Leeds. One of my main interests is in finding associations between plants’ traits and the environments where they grow – a challenge that often calls for complex statistical models. I also use simulation models to explore the patterns of species across space and time and help improve conservation policies.
