Malcolm Cartwright

Malcolm is a PhD student in the department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Leeds. His work involves modelling high explosives; in particular investigating the affect of confinement on shock wave propagation and producing mathematical models to reproduce observed phenomena.

Malcolm has a vast range of experience in modelling physical-based systems; examples include: modelling stellar accretion discs, population dynamics and supersonic compressible fluid dynamics.
