2.2) Using emacs (cont'd)


The word emacs is the command that instructs Unix to look for the software called emacs and the second word is the name of the new file that you want to make. I have called our new file ‘newfile’ but you could give it any name you like. Once you are in emacs you can enter data or write the content of your file.
