At the command line, type ‘emacs data1’.
emacs data1
Enter the data and then save the file by holding the ‘Ctrl’ button whilst pressing ‘x’ and then ‘c’ and reply to the question with ‘y’ for yes or use the cursor to save through the file tab and exit.
