Description

This course covers the basic concepts of System Dynamics modelling with a practical introduction to the Vensim software package. It begins by outlining the basic elements of "system thinking" that underlie system dynamics models, before covering the implementation of a system dynamics model in Vensim with several examples of varying complexity. By the completion of this course, the reader should be able to formulate a system dynamics model for a given problem, implement the model in Vensim and run a set of simulations to investigate it's behaviour.
