8.2) Add Connections
- Begin by adding the “INTEREST RATE” variable to your empty build window as you did other variables in the previous section
- To add the “Savings” stock, click on the “Box Variable” button in the sketch menu. Then click where you would like to add this in the build window. A text box will appear where you type the name of your stock: “Savings”. Then press “Enter”
- Next add the flow variable to the model. To do this, click on the “Rate” button in the sketch menu. Using this tool is very similar to creating an arrow, it has an origin and a destination. In this case, there is no origin for the interest so click first on an empty space in the build window. With a second click on the “Savings” stock variable, the flow variable is created giving you a text box to enter its name. Type in “interest” and press “Enter”
