The basic structure of the model has not changed from the previous exercise. What you should have noticed in trying to find the correct quotas is that there is very little difference between exponential growth and exponential decline. The quota has to be set to precisely the right value to achieve equilibrium. This mechanism for population control is not likely to be robust in the real world.
